Introductory
Textbook:
“Thinking Like An
Engineer: An Active Learning Approach”:
This textbook was very resourceful
as it answered almost all of the preconceptions. It explains a problem solving
method called “SOLVEM” which assists in
devising a solution. There is also a section called “Everyday Engineering” in
which there is a brief description about each type of engineering including
Biosystems, Chemical, Civil, Electric, Environmental, etc. There is also a
section called “Design and Teamwork” within there is an explanation to
sustainability amongst design and teamwork strategies. It does not, however, obviously talk about what engineers don't like about their jobs.
Sounds like a interesting book. What made you chose to write this book? I mean what is the most interesting part of this book?
