SWE is the Society of
Women in Engineering at Michigan State University. They do many events to get
involved in the community such as going to Lansing schools and doing activities involving engineering. They are having a specific event in which high school senior girls, who have ben admitted to the College of
Engineering at MSU, spend the day and night to learn more about engineering. This organization tries to unite students entering the field as well as making friendships and enforcing leadership positions. Each biweekly meeting consists of guest speakers from the engineering field and announcements about upcoming volunteer events and how to get involved. It's a great club to be apart of for anyone wanting to know more about engineering or how to get others involved in it.
